What is aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration?

Aerobic And Anaerobic Respiration:

Aerobic respiration takes place in mitochondria ,requires oxygen and glucose, and produces carbon dioxide, water, and energy. The chemical equation  C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6H2O (glucose + oxygen -> carbon dioxide + water).

To date we've studied that place is taken by respiration. Though it's very rare respiration can also take place in the lack of oxygen. Which implies that oxidation of food can occur in the absence of oxygen and in the presence of oxygen.

According to this, we've two types of respiration: anaerobic respiration and aerobic respiration. Is called respiration. Respiration generates a substantial quantity of energy for use. The breaking down of glucose during aerobic respiration can be represented. Note that during aerobic respiration, 1 molecule of glucose produces 38 energy rich ATP molecules. The organisms that obtain energy by aerobic respiration All can't survive without oxygen.

aerobic and anaerobic respiration, aerobic respiration equation

Because if there is no oxygen, they can't get energy from the food. It's Mitochondria are the house of respiration from cells. The breakdown of pyruvate to provide energy, water and CO2 takes place in mitochondria.

The organism utilizes the energy released during respiration. The majority of the living microorganisms carry out aerobic respiration. For example, humans, cats, dogs, lions, elephants, cows, buffaloes, goat, deer, birds, lizards, snakes, earthworms, frogs, fish, as well as insects as well as vast majority of the plants carry out aerobic respiration by employing oxygen of air. Anaerobic Respiration: The respiration that happens without oxygen is called respiration.

Anaerobic respiration equation

Anaerobic respiration takes place in the cell cytoplasm and produces lactic acid. The chemical equation is C6H12O6 -> 2C3H6O3 (Glucose -> Lactic acid).

The organisms such as yeast and some bacteria obtain energy. This energy is then utilized by the micro organisms. Anaerobic respiration produces much less energy than is stored in the ATP molecules. The breaking down of glucose during anaerobic respiration carried out by yeast could be represented as follows: Note that during anaerobic respiration, 1 molecule of glucose produces only two energy rich ATP molecules.

Some organisms like yeast plants and certain bacteria can get energy from food in the lack of oxygen by the process of anaerobic respiration. Note that all the organisms that get power by anaerobic respiration can live without oxygen. For instance, the single celled, non green plant known as yeast can live without oxygen as it gets power by the process of anaerobic respiration. From this discussion we conclude that each of the cells don't use oxygen to produce energy.

My final words in simple terms you can understand the difference between aerobic and anaerobic exercise respiration aerobic means with oxygen for example brisk walk, treadmill running and light jogging, step up exercises, whereas anaerobic exercise respiration means with without oxygen and your body produces lactic acid when you lift weight, for example strength training, cross fit training, functional training, tabata training.
